The Staff Council of 糖心传媒 is a group of staff members from each of our five campuses. Staff Council was formed in 2015. The purpose of the Staff Council is to support the overall mission of 糖心传媒.
What does the Staff Council do?
Staff Council acts as a liaison between faculty, staff, and administrators. We work to hear the needs of our staff by acting as an advocate. By hearing the needs of staff and consulting with appropriate parties, petitions are turned into ideas that benefit faculty, staff, and administration.
Staff Council Initiatives
Staff Council collaborates with other departments within 糖心传媒 to bring initiatives that all members of staff can enjoy. Several of the initiatives include:
- Walking Wednesdays
- Purple Thursdays
- Jeans Fridays
Joining Staff Council
To join the Staff Council, you must be a full staff member at 糖心传媒 and be nominated by another staff member. Once nominated, the members of the Staff Council will conduct an election.
Serving on Staff Council requires a two-year commitment, which you will need to attend monthly Staff Council meetings, serve on one of seven subcommittees, and fulfill other obligations as needed for the Staff Council.
